American Mahjong has been enjoyed for generations and has experienced a wonderful resurgence in recent years. With its rich history, beautiful tiles, and engaging strategy, it’s a game that brings people together — and I’d love to teach you to play.

I offer two American Mahjong classes designed to help you learn with confidence and enjoy the game from the very beginning.

Mahjong 101
A beginner-friendly introduction to the fundamentals of American Mahjong. You’ll learn the rules, flow of the game, tile reading, the Charleston, and basic strategy in a fun and approachable environment. After just one class, you’ll feel comfortable joining a game with friends and continuing to build your skills.

Mahjong 102
A follow-up class designed for players ready to deepen their understanding of the game. We’ll cover strategy, etiquette, defensive play, reading the table, special situations, and the finer details that help elevate your confidence and gameplay.
